An NFL player, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Damar Hamlin has always led with heart, putting his family and community first.
At the University of Pittsburgh, he earned his first-team All-State honors and became Class AAAA Defensive Player of the Year before joining the Buffalo Bills as a safety, standing out as a leader on the team early in his NFL career.
In college, Damar launched Chasing M's, a clothing brand and foundation created to give back, initially raising funds to support his mother Nina’s daycare center and provide toys for the kids during the holidays.

During a Monday Night Football game on January 2, 2023, Damar completed what looked like a routine tackle, only to collapse on the field moments after. He suffered from cardiac arrest.
His life was saved through CPR and swift medical action. As he recovered, Damar asked, “Did we win?” His trauma surgeon replied, “Yes, Damar, you won. You won the game of life.”
In a global show of support, fans around the world donated nearly $10 million, transforming Damar’s foundation into a global platform for youth empowerment, CPR education and community programs.
